Get ready to get your tomboy on.  The sporty athletic look is popping up everywhere.   From the catwalks, fashion blogs and concrete runways, dressing like a tomboy is the way to dress.  Sporty jersey tees, leather sweats, dressy joggers, baseball tees, caps, jumpers and those must have Isabel Marant sneakers are everywhere right now and only getting bigger.  I am always having to decide between being fashionable or being comfortable however with this look I get to be both.   Maybe that's why I am so in love with the sporty trend or maybe it's because it brings me back to my youth.  Reminiscing about my carefree days of being young and my only worry being, making sure I get home before the street lights come on.  Either way, this is definitely a trend I recommend everyone try.  Go and get your tomboy on :-)

Today I was hoping to take advantage of the fabulous locations here in Baltimore for pics however thanks to the weather I had to take pics in the hotel.  I was initially really bummed since it has rained every day here, however I'm learning to dance in the rain instead of waiting for it to pass, as they say.  Any who,  I'm going to show you how to take a few key pieces from day to night.  My first look is a pair of pinstriped shortalls with a polka dot crop top, heels and top it off with a leather jacket.  My night look, which is my dressier ensemble, consists of black skinnies, Polka dot crop top, sleeveless blazer(one of my fav pieces) ankle strap heels, my armour(aka... arm swag, arm candy), statement necklace and of course my Celine bag.   I am going to try to do more posts like this one and show you how to make the most of a few key pieces.  That way you can take your look from casual to dressy with ease.

Hello my lovelies, First off I would like to apologize for the lack of posts.   I've been a little under the weather and now we are out of town for hubbies work.  I had scouted out some cool locations to take some pics however, the weather decided not to cooperate so I had to improvise.  Ok, enough chit chat, now to the important part... The fashion.  In this look I incorporated a few of the latest trends.  A black skort, graphic crop top, chambray button down, tied around the waist with a sleeveless blazer and of course my Celine trapeze and a pair of sexy ankle strap sandals.

When you think of wearing a T-shirt, you definitely don't think chic and fashion forward.  Well not anymore.  The T-shirt trend is everywhere and quickly becoming one of my favorite trends of the season.  It is an item that is super comfortable and everyone owns.  Some of my top choices in the Tee department are of course the designer tees.  My personal fav is the ever so chic Celine tee.  I am also partial to the rockerish vintage band tees.  Now, there is a certain way to style your Tee to make sure you don't end up looking like a hot mess.  You want it to be a some what tailored type of fit, not super tight but also not baggy.  Next you will need to neatly roll up the sleeves and tuck that bad boy in.  Whether you choose the full tuck or the half tuck, it's totally up to you.  You can dress it with a dressy pencil skirt, boyfriend jeans or a cute pair of patterned shorts.  I prefer to accessorize mine with a sexy pair of ankle strap heels to  dress it up a bit and to provide that perfect juxtaposition of casual and dressy.  Last but definitely not least, top off your look with the perfect T-shirt accessories, which for me is a dressy jeweled necklace, a pair of sexy sunnies and loads of armor a.k.a arm swag;-)
