The printed pant or short suit is one trend making its rounds on the chicest runways and on the stylish streets.  It is one of those trends that needs to be done right to look right.  I'm still looking for one that will work for me.  You have to take into account a lot of factors when working one.  Example, the colors need to compliment you skin and hair color and the size of the pattern doesn't need to overwhelm your frame.  Petite women like myself look better in smaller patterns.  However taller  women can go big or small.  You also need to make sure the suit is tailored to you body.  You don't want it skin tight or hanging off of you.  I prefer the look to be worn with a solid top with the printed blazer as opposed to an all over print but that of course is just my personal choice.  This is definitely a tougher trend to rock but once you nail it, all eyes will be on you.  Don't forget to smile and work it with confidence.

One of my favorite trends of the past seasons, the always comfortable and ever so versatile distressed boyfriend jean, is making it's rounds again this season.  You can dress them down with a plain v neck tee and a pair of wedge sneakers or glam them up with a sequin cropped tank, a sexy pair of ankle strap heels and your fabulous accessories.  Not only is this look chic and stylish, it is also super duper comfy and makes for a quick and easy transition from a day to night look. Perfect for the girl on the go.  Wear the casual look during the day to run errands, then grab your heels, dainty tank, clutch and jewels out of your bag, throw them on and go meet your girls for drinks.  Cheers to fab fashion on the go!!!

It seems like it wasn't that long ago, sporting the ever so famous daisy dukes, were all the rage.  I won't lie, I also participated in that trend.  This led me to constantly grabbing at my shorts and pulling them down to make sure I'm not showing too much cheek ;-)  Not to mention, having the men in my life say " You're not going to wear those, are you?" Needless to say, I'm very happy to see the daisy duke trend exiting and the looser more comfortable boyfriendesque cutoff  trend making it's arrival.   Upsize away!

Overall obsessed

Everyone has that piece of clothing that they are obsessed with.  You know, that thing that gives you some extra pep in your step.  Well with me it's a cute pair of overalls or a sexy jumpsuit.  I have no idea where this obsession came from but It's there.  So you can only imagine how happy I was to see this trend reemerging.   I also have a clothes hoarding problem and in this case it has paid off.  This pair of overalls I purchased about 9 years ago at little store in my hometown called 579.  These bad boys I found on a clearance rack for $4.99.  I know... right!!!  Score!! Who doesn't like a fab deal.  Any who, I chose to rock these bad boys with a cropped tee and some cobalt heels.

Layering is always one of my fave trends and a vest is one of the best ways to work this trend.  Throwing one on  allows you to mix different textures and combine different elements.  I always love to mix it up.  Add a casual blue jean vest over a super girly dress for that perfect juxtaposition  or add a leather vest over a vintage tee for an edgy rocker chick vibe.  The past couple of  fall/winter seasons, the fabulous boho fur(hopefully faux) vest has managed to become an essential piece in most wardrobes.  However this Spring/summer the leather or denim vest replaces the fur vest.  Since the temperatures are rising, denim and leather are the more practical choice when layering for warmer climates.   Now go and amp up your look with a sexy vesty ;-)

Ear cuff crazy

I have always been a fan of dressing up all the somewhat non sexy parts of the body especially ears.  Hello earring obsession!!! So when I saw this ear cuff trend, I couldn't help but jump for joy.  I have been toying with the idea getting an ear cartilage/top of the ear piercing for quite sometime now but I'm always weary about doing something permanent and due to the fact I already have my ears, bellybutton and nose pierced, not looking forward to having another hole on my body when it goes out of style.  Thank you ear cuff trend.  I think I found a better non permanent way to style my ear.

Normally when it comes to my taste in fashion, I am all about standing out but in this trend, It's all about blending in.  Yes that's right, I said "blending in" by wearing the camo trend that is.  When you wear camo you want to even the look out.  It is like leopard print, great in small doses but don't over do it.  No head to toe camo, unless your a solider;-)
