Normally, when I am presented the option of comfort versus style, you better believe style wins every time and this season is no different but thanks to this years biggest trend(pun intended) Baggy/boyfriend chic, I won't end up with a case of buyers remorse.  Every season like clockwork, I cycle through the same fashion phases.  First, I fall head over heels in love with a trend, relentlessly hunt down that item, purchase it. Obsessively fantasize about that said item and how freaking cute I am going to look and feel in it.  Basically, I know that this piece is going to change my life and well...make me a better person;-)   Finally, after I have it, there is deciding the perfect place to wear it.  Once rocking this piece I am on my fashion buzz and nothing can bring me down.  That is until I start to realize how uncomfortable and impractical the piece actually is.  I am now quietly cursing the designer who created this ridiculously uncomfortable trend and suffering a serious case of wtf were you thinking.  Well I'm  super excited that this year is going to be different.  Woot woot!!!!  Thanks to boyfriend jeans, boxy tops, baggy coats, leather sweats, trackies and sweat shirts.   Yes, you heard right, sweatshirts.  Once seen as lazy lounge wear and exiled to the back of your over stuffed drawer, sweatshirts are now in the prime of their life.  This comfy piece is now a vital go to item of the season.  You can pair them with a pair of boyfriend jeans and heels or dress it up with a cute  midi skirt and over the knee boots for a dressier ensemble.  Since sweatshirts themselves tend to give off a casual vibe, I like to dress them up.  Always remember to balance casual and dressy. The only thing I wouldn't suggest wearing it with is sweat pants.
